I bet you didn't know that I used to love to paint. Actually, I still do but... I lost a lot of practice. A LOT. I haven't done it in ages. Once I discovered how to work a computer, my passion for it kind of died down. I quit drawing, coloring and painting. I never should have. I just realized how therapeutic it is for me. I'm no "Picasso" or "Frida Khalo" but hey! I can paint something! LOL Last night, I was a little bored around the house and so was Sofia. I could tell, she gets antsy and fussy. We hardly ever go out so I have to find ways to entertain her at home. Good GAWD this girl's only 8 months (well, practically 9) and she's already getting bored! LOL Anyway... I remembered I had paint left over from a while back. I checked to make sure it was "non-toxic" so she could get it on her hands and stuff and yes, it was! Woohoo! I let her touch it, smear it on paper and my baby was soooooooo amazed by it... you should have seen the look of amazement and excitement on her face! It was priceless! Anyway... while she did that, I grabbed a brush and did my own thing on another piece of paper and it was almost like magic. Something pinched me and I just painted away... it ignited that love I had for it... so I've been paiting since then. LOL I whipped up 2 pieces today. They're not "all" that but I love them. They're my little works of art. *grin*
